Simon who heads up AWS, is a chartered Engineer with 37 years of experience in the power generation sector with a specialism in renewable energy.
He brings a wealth of previous experience to the role, spanning concept development, engineering and project management of renewable energy projects including selection, impact assessment, consenting, planning, project finance, engineering execution, delivery, operation and maintenance.
Elizabeth Barbier is the Commercial Manager of AWS Ocean Energy Ltd. She graduated from Pierre and Marie Curie University, Paris, France in 2001 with a BSc in Environmental Management with Technology. She now has 15 years’ post-graduate experience in power generation projects, business management and technology development, all of which have been in the renewables sector.
In 2006 Jude joined AWS Ocean Energy to commercialise Wave Energy and other novel wave-power IP.
Matheo Galatis graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 1995 with a Master of Sustainable Design Engineering, he went on to work in the Oil & Gas Industry gaining a breadth of experience in project delivery, offshore operations and maintenance work. Following a career break, Matheo made the transition to working in the renewable energy sector, he is highly motivated by the opportunity to build a better future where our energy sources are sustainable, clean and innovative. After spending nearly five years at OSU's Marine Energy and the Pacific Marine Energy Center, Matheo assumed a leadership role at AWS Ocean Energy USA.
